TCEDA PROGRAMS

Visitation Plan

A major task for the Tri-County Economic Alliance, Inc. is to write and distribute press releases regarding our community outreach programs (Visitation Plan). In addition to the press releases a standard outreach PowerPoint presentation is to be developed.

Community Outreach and Relations

The Visitation Plan is designed to visit business for three (3) reasons: Support business owners, develop a business database, and assist with the retention of businesses in our communities via the survey. To manage the plan appropriately each of these reasons will be developed into a separate task. Each task may be a side benefit or may result in additional benefits to TCEDA and/or its clients.

Press releases and public presentations are a wonderful opportunity to connect and communicate to our stakeholders. Press releases sent to the media conveys the details of the program the TCEDA team members will be presenting. Each TCEDA team member will be responsible for making public presentations. Material and content will vary dependent on the situation.

Rapid Response

Another key objective of the Tri-County Economic Alliance, Inc., (TCEDA) is the development and coordination of the rapid response team.

Rapid response has two (2) meanings in economic development: Crisis and request reply. Both of these meanings will be covered in the TCEDA rapid response program.

"In tough economic times we have to rely on one another to pull us through. Whether it is small adjoining communities, across JoDaviess County, or Northwest Illinois as a whole, TCEDA has the right idea and can help us link with one another to "make things happen."
